This is a superb handmade Saxon strap-end dating to the 6th century. It is in very good condition and retains both its rivetts. It has a zoomorphic head at one end with an inlaid niello decoration in the centre. Silver plated. Excellent piece. I will e-mail more pictures on request!! SOLD!! 3/9/07

An excellent childs toy cannon. Probably a sad loss for someone! Dated to the 18th century its in good condition and would have had wooden wheels...long since rotted away. Found at an 18th century bridge crossing.

I was approached on an internet forum to advertise this hoard for the finder with a view to selling. I have subsequently found that this hoard has not been reported and therefor have nothing more to do with the sale. I only sell legal, reported finds!
